With a playoff game on the line, the Mobile Christian Leopards rose to the challenge on Thursday. They breezed by the Mustangs on the road to the tune of 55-28. Considering Mobile Christian has won 14 games by more than 19 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Mobile Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Damien Gatson, who threw for 298 yards and five touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes. PJ Brown was another key contributor, gaining 140 total yards and two touchdowns.
The win for Mobile Christian keeps them at an undefeated 15-0. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 32.67 points. As for Madison Academy, their defeat ended a ten-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 14-1.
Mobile Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Madison Academy also has no future games currently scheduled.
