Sulphur came tearing into Tuesday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24.7 points) and they left with even more momentum. They breezed past the Southside Sharks to the tune of 55-27. The Golden Tors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 20 points or more this season.

Sulphur pushed their record up to 24-3 with the win, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.8 points over those games. As for Southside, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-16.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sulphur will venture away from home to take on Carencro at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Southside, they are taking a road trip to face off against Acadiana at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
