The Servite Friars scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They claimed a resounding 103-39 win over Mountain View at home. That 103-39 margin sets a new team best for Servite this season.
It was another big night for Rj Chastang, who scored 21 points along with five rebounds. Chastang also grabbed two steals for the first time this season. Jake Schutt was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with five rebounds and four steals.
The win was the third in a row for Servite, bringing their record for this year to 4-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 84.3 points per game. As for Mountain View, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Servite will take on Warren at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Warren focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Thursday.
