With a playoff win on the line, Raleigh rose to the challenge on Friday. They took down the Union Yellowjackets 35-21. Winning may never get old, but the Lions sure are getting used to it with their 12th in a row.
Jamarcus Mccullum went supernova, rushing for 79 yards and a pair of touchdowns, while also throwing for 115 yards and two TDs while completing 75% of his passes. Those 115 passing yards gave him a new career-high. Deuce Carter was another key player, picking up 44 receiving yards and one score.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Raleigh was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 206 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.
Despite the loss, Union saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Moonie Harris picked up 104 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. Quinn Harris handled things on the ground, rushing for 88 yards.
