The South Warren Spartans will head out on the road to challenge the University Heights Blazers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. South Warren has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
South Warren posted their biggest victory since December 5, 2023 back in December of 2023. They blew past Union County 74-54.
Meanwhile, University Heights stacked a seventh blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 75-43 win over Dawson Springs. Given University Heights' advantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 37th, while Dawson Springs is ranked 158th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
South Warren is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for University Heights, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-3.
