Hayden Heim Game Report: vs Maranatha Christian Academy

St. Marys was led to victory by Hayden Heim, who turned in her biggest game of the season on Friday. Heim went 15 for 22 on her way to 42 points in addition to eight rebounds and six steals. Thanks to that strong showing, she's now averaging 2.6 steals per game. That makes it five consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of St. Marys' points.

Heim and St. Marys will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Silver Lake on January 7, 2025. The Bears had to take a loss when they last met the Eagles, but Heim had little to do with the loss: she went 6 of 11 en route to 15 points along with six boards and three blocks.
