The Bethel Park Black Hawks's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They took a 58-44 bruising from Montour. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Bethel Park has scored all season.
Leading Montour to victory were Ama tening Sow and Jake Wolfe. Sow dropped a double-double on 14 points and 20 rebounds, while Wolfe scored 30 points. Sow is crushing the rebound category: he's posted at least eight every time he's taken the court this season.
Bethel Park's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 7-6. As for Montour, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-2.
Bethel Park will head out on the road to square off against the Blue Devils at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Mt. Lebanon will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive. Montour will take on the Fightin' Planets at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Mars' favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last nine contests.
