After losing to the Breaux Bridge Tigers the last time they met, the St. Martinville Tigers decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. St. Martinville walked away with a 38-31 win over Breaux Bridge on Thursday.
St. Martinville got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Makharee Narcisse out in front who scored 12 points along with 6 rebounds. The match was Narcisse's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Ja'Myri Bernard, who scored 8 points.
The win got St. Martinville back to even at 3-3. As for Breaux Bridge, they have fallen quite a ways from their 29-10 record last season and are now at 1-2.
St. Martinville is on the road again on Tuesday and play against Comeaux at 7:00 p.m. on December 5th. As for Breaux Bridge, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Bunkie at 5:00 p.m.
