Basketball Recap: Jeb Harper and Ole Seehars Secure Win for Oak Mountain Academy

Oak Mountain Academy's matchup on Tuesday was close up to the half, but then they kicked things up a notch. They were the clear victors by a 59-35 margin over the Killian Hill Christian Cougars. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 24 points or more this season.

Oak Mountain Academy was led to victory by Ole Seehars and Jeb Harper. Seehars dropped a double-double with 18 points and 13 rebounds, while Harper dropped a double-double with 18 points and 23 boards. Patrick Marlow was another key player, putting up ten points and five rebounds.

Oak Mountain Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 11 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Killian Hill Christian only posted five.

Despite the defeat, Killian Hill Christian had strong showings from Timothy Johns, who posted nine points and six boards, and Ronald Skeete, who earned 12 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Dylan Kegler, who put up seven points.

The win made it two in a row for Oak Mountain Academy and bumps their season record up to 5-1. The team dominated over those games too, winning by an average of 25.5 points. As for Killian Hill Christian, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oak Mountain Academy will face off against Cottage at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Warriors are facing the Cougars at the right time seeing as the Cougars are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Killian Hill Christian, they will take on Covington Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
