Adding to the longest winning streak in A District 3 this week, Omaha Westside beat Millard West 28-23. The victory was the fourth in a row for the Warriors.
Omaha Westside and the Wildcats played the closest game in the league this week, with Omaha Westside eventually emerging with a 28-23 victory.
Brett Froendt's team's CHRISTIAN HAGAN and JAMAAL CONWAY-SMITH have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-2 quarterback HAGAN has thrown for 1,987 yards this season, while CONWAY-SMITH has 60 catches for 899 yards. Papillion-LaVista South's Drew Klein leads the league in rushing yards with 2,165.
So far this year, JAYDEN SWENSEN has thrown for 1,876 yards with 19 touchdowns and 13 interceptions.
The Warriors made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 472 from 587. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 28-23 victory over Millard West last week.
