Ava Kibler was her usual excellent self, scoring 29 points along with five rebounds. Those 29 points set a new season-high mark for her. Reese Merrell was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with 14 rebounds and eight assists.
Lee Christian lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Madison Mashburn, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 12 rebounds. Those 12 rebounds set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was Elayna McFarland, who dropped a double-double on 16 rebounds and 14 blocks.
Even though they lost, Lee Christian were working as a unit and finished the game with ten assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
North Hills Christian is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 5-6 record this season. As for Lee Christian, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
