HCYA waltzed into their game on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They put the hurt on the Providence Athletic Club Panthers with a sharp 14-2 win. HCYA might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 16 matchups by six runs or more this season.

Taegan Lermann was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.

In other batting news, Bijan Ali was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in February. Another player making a difference was Kiran Kyham, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

HCYA always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .581. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Providence Athletic Club only posted an OBP of .176.

HCYA's victory bumped their record up to 25-7-2. As for Providence Athletic Club, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-11.

HCYA does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Providence Athletic Club, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-1 win against Aletheia Christian Academy on the 8th.
