The Gaither Cowboys's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Sumner Stingrays at 8:00 p.m. on January 23rd. Gaither has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 193 points over their last three contests.
Last Friday, Gaither earned a 58-47 victory over Chamberlain.
It was another big night for Rico Kindred, who scored 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Marc Fransberg, who scored eight points.
Meanwhile, Sumner came up short against King on Friday and fell 49-42.
Gaither is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-10 record this season. As for Sumner, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-6.
Gaither took a serious blow against Sumner in their previous meeting back in January of 2023, falling 78-41. Can Gaither avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
