Lexington can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Clover Blue Eagles. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Wildcats have posted since November 7, 2024.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Lexington who won the one that mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 20-25, 15-13.

Lexington's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Clover, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Coming up, Lexington will host South Aiken at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Clover, they will venture away from home to challenge Rock Hill at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The game will give the Blue Eagles their first taste of in-conference action this season.
