 C. Milton Wright was led to victory by  Jaxon Simms, who turned in his biggest game of the season  on Thursday. Simms rushed for 134 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.1 yards per carry, good enough to  set a new career-high in  rushing yards in the process. He is becoming a predictor of C. Milton Wright's success: when he posts  at  least two  rushing touchdowns the team is 2-1 (and 1-2 when he doesn't).
 The  win was  the third in a row for C. Milton Wright, bringing their record for this year to 3-3. Simms' next  contest is against Joppatowne on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid  performance.

 Harford Tech was led to victory by  Karon Evans, who turned in his biggest game of the season  on Friday. Evans picked up 150 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
 Evans might have his next game, a road matchup with Perry Hall, circled on his calendar. Back in October of 2023 (the last time  Evans saw the Gators), he picked up 135 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
