After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lutheran, Southfield Christian was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They escaped with a win against the Novi Christian Academy Warriors by the margin of a single free throw, 38-37. The Eagles' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Several Warriors players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Samantha Fandino, who posted 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Layla Foguth, who had nine points.

Southfield Christian's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Novi Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.

Southfield Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 41-14 loss against Whitmore Lake on the 23rd. Novi Christian Academy has also already played their next matchup, a 46-40 defeat against Parkway Christian on the 23rd.
