Easley is 2-8 against Westside since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Friday. The Easley Green Wave will head out on the road to  take on  the Westside Rams at 6:00  p.m. Both teams come into the  game bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
 You can't lose the  match if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Easley's strategy against Berea on Tuesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Easley blew Berea out of the water with a  70-29 final score. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest  victory Easley has posted  since December 18, 2023.
 Easley's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Ava Proctor, who  scored 17 points along with two  steals.  Olivia Gramblin was another key contributor,  scoring 15 points.
 Meanwhile, Westside had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.3 points), and they went ahead and made it seven on Tuesday. They took down Greenwood 47-32.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Westside to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Kiarra Gregory, who  scored 12 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Gregory has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Ahrianna Scott, who  scored ten points.
 Easley's win bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Westside, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won eight of their last nine contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season.
 Easley suffered a grim  52-28 defeat to Westside  in their previous meeting  two weeks ago. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of  Westside's  Makyhia Paul, who  scored 14 points along with four  steals. Now that Easley knows the damage she can cause, will they be able to stop her this time? There's only one way to find out.
