After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three matches, Parkway finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Airline Vikings by a score of 4-2. The Panthers' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Parkway's defeat dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Airline, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season.

While Parkway had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
