Cal Raleigh. Over the past week, he racked up one win and 12 strikeouts.
Pisgah made the biggest jump in the standings this week, moving from eighth to second place in the league thanks to a 2-1 record over the past seven days. Meanwhile,
Franklin fell hardest in the standings, dropping from third all the way to seventh place after going 0-1 in the past week.
West Henderson (7-1, 2-0) is now in first place.
Although the Panthers surrendered only two walks this week, the lowest number in the league over that span, the Mustangs are still tops for the season with just 15 walks over 43 innings this year.
There were nine hitters that batted over .400 in the league this week. They were led by Josh Carter, who hit .714 this week (5-for-7).
Brevard's
Johnny Stamey struck out 14 Franklin hitters en route to an 8-5 victory on March 19. Over his seven innings pitched he allowed five runs on 11 hits.
Hunter Lawton was an RBI machine on Tuesday, as he knocked in four runs during the Falcons' 12-2 win over
North Henderson. He went 2-for-4 and scored one run.
