Football Recap: Shiloh Christian Piles Up the Points Against Siloam Springs

You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter and that's exactly how it played out for Shiloh Christian on Thursday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew the Siloam Springs Panthers out of the water with a 59-0 final score. The result was nothing new for the Saints, who have now won five games by 28 points or more so far this season.

It was another big night for Griffin Mason, who rushed for 107 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 carries, and also picked up 39 receiving yards. That's the most rushing touchdowns he has posted since back in September. Cole Creighton was another key player, throwing for 188 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 73.3% of his passes.

Shiloh Christian didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Cooper Croft and Blake Williams.

The win (which was Shiloh Christian's fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-2. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.3 points over those games. As for Siloam Springs, they dropped their record down to 2-6 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Shiloh Christian will square off against Lake Hamilton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Saints will be up against the Wolves' rather soft defense (which has allowed 35.13 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Siloam Springs, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Russellville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers will be up against the Cyclones' rather soft defense (which has allowed 48 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
