After a disappointing 0 points in the matchup before, Liberty Bell made sure to put some points up on the board against Lyle/Wishram on Saturday. Liberty Bell steamrollered Lyle/Wishram 46-6. The high-flying offensive effort was a definite turnaround from Liberty Bell's flat performance the game before.

Liberty Bell got off to a slow start in their previous match, but they had no such trouble against Lyle/Wishram and cruised to a 32-point first half. Lyle/Wishram came up with 6 to make it 32-6 heading into the break. The Liberty Bell defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 0 and all but finishing the contest. The win got Liberty Bell back to even at 2-2. The loss dropped Lyle/Wishram's record to 2-1.

Next week Liberty Bell take on Brewster at Brewster High School at 7:00 PM. Brewster also lit up the scoreboard in their last match, so this could be a high-scoring match. Lyle/Wishram will have some time to rest before their next match, which is against Mary M. Knight in two weeks at 1:00 PM. Neither of those teams wants a repeat from their last game since each was dealt a considerable defeat.
