The Taylor County Bulldogs lost against the Suwannee Bulldogs back in January of 2020, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Taylor County lost to Suwannee on the road by a decisive 67-50 margin.
Taylor County's loss came despite strong showings from Allen Collier and Trayce Abercrombie. Collier dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds, while Abercrombie scored 14 points. Jakari Jackson was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with four steals.
Taylor County's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Suwannee, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-8.
Taylor County will head out on the road to face off against Leon at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Leon is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak. As for Suwannee, they will play host again and welcome Trinity Catholic, where tip off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
