After two games on the road, Essex is heading back home. They and the Colonial Beach Drifters will face off at 5:30 p.m. on February 1st without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
Last Tuesday, Essex was the victim of a rough 71-47 defeat at the hands of the Indians.
Meanwhile, Colonial Beach waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins but they left with three. They secured a 51-45 W over Rappahannock.
Essex has traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season. As for Colonial Beach, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.
Essex came up short against the Drifters in their previous matchup on Saturday, falling 51-38. Can Essex avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
