Eagle Academy typically have all the answers at home, but on Monday the Capital Prep Harbor Sharks proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the by a score of 69-56. Capital Prep Harbor's offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.
Capital Prep Harbor got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Edward Williams out in front who scored 23 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. Williams is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 18 or more in the last four games he's played. Joshua Daniels was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 12 rebounds.
The win was the third in a row for Capital Prep Harbor, bringing their record for this year to 16-3. As for Eagle Academy, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-2.
Capital Prep Harbor won't have much time to rest: their next match is against the Chancellors at 6:30 p.m. on January 30th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Connecticut (St. Thomas More is ranked 17th, while the Sharks are ranked ninth). Eagle Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
