Tyler Tindall made a big impact no matter where he played. He tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (four). He was even better at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.

The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in hits (two). Another player making a difference was Logan Rarey, who scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.
Aiken was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, Greenwood got the win against Woodmont on Tuesday by a conclusive 7-1.
The team relied heavily on Will Bice, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. Greenwood is undefeated when Bice posts two or more runs, but 4-8 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Triston Lewis, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.
Aiken's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-7. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Greenwood, the win got them back to even at 8-8.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Saturday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Aiken has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 6.9 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Greenwood struggles in that department as they've been averaging 6.8 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Aiken came up short against Greenwood when the teams last played back in May of 2023, falling 4-1. Will the Fighting Green Hornets have more luck at home instead of on the road? Come back here after the game to get an analysis of the match and other baseball content.
