Last Saturday, De Leon lost to Hamilton at home by a decisive 53-37 margin.
Meanwhile, Rio Vista came up short against Keene on Tuesday and fell 58-50.
The losing side was boosted by Shamar Richburg, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 13 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Filippo Bencetti, who scored 11 points along with 7 assists and 7 rebounds.
De Leon now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Rio Vista, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.
De Leon came up short against Rio Vista in their previous meeting back in December of 2021, falling 48-39. Can De Leon avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
