The Tremont Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their ninth straight loss. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 72-49 walloping at the hands of Wheeler. Tremont has struggled against Wheeler recently, as their match on Monday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Tremont's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Andrew Curtis, who scored ten points along with five rebounds and two steals. Leo Cousseau was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with seven rebounds and five assists.
Tremont has traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 11 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-21 record this season. As for Wheeler, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-10.
