The Lynchburg HomeSchool Patriots will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against the Fuqua Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on February 5th. Lynchburg HomeSchool knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past seven contests -- so hopefully the Falcons like a good challenge.
Lynchburg HomeSchool put the finishing touches on their sixth blowout victory of the season on Saturday. Everything went their way against Fredericksburg V as Lynchburg HomeSchool made off with a 73-48 win.
Lynchburg HomeSchool's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kayden Saunders, who scored 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ben Smith, who scored 12 points.
Meanwhile, Fuqua had to suffer through a rough 79-25 loss at the hands of the Dukes. Fuqua was down 60-24 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.
Lynchburg HomeSchool is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season. As for Fuqua, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season.
