Ripon's loss came despite strong showings from Ethan Baur and Logan Lefebvre. Baur scored nine points along with three steals, while Lefebvre scored 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Landon Gillespie, who scored ten points.
Ripon's loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-6. As for Ripon Christian, they pushed their record up to 15-6 with that win, which was their sixth straight at home.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ripon will take on Livingston at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Livingston will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 986th, while Ripon is ranked 331st). As for Ripon Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hughson at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hughson is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.
