They never let the Lions get on the board and left with a 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for Hickory Christian Academy, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Peyton McLelland and Amelia Herring scored all three of Hickory Christian Academy's goals, bringing their combined season tally to nine goals.

Hickory Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Statesville Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
