Lake Charles College Prep's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Elijah Garrick, who scored 18 points. Another player making a difference was Dre Polidore, who scored 16 points.
St. Louis Catholic's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-8. As for Lake Charles College Prep, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 11-7.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Iowa the next time they take the court. Lake Charles College Prep will head out to face Iowa at 7:15 p.m. on Friday, while St. Louis Catholic will host them at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
