The Urbana Hillclimbers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 21 points or more this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat Tecumseh 66-38 on the road. This was payback for Urbana, who suffered a 70-59 defeat the last time these two teams met.
It was another big night for Peyton Mounce, who dropped a double-double on 27 points and 17 rebounds. The matchup was her 13th in a row with at least ten points. Lyza Forson was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Urbana has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season. As for Tecumseh, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Urbana will challenge Kenton Ridge at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Kenton Ridge will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 709th, while Urbana is ranked 178th). As for Tecumseh, they will head out on the road to face off against Shawnee at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Shawnee is out to stop a six-game streak of losses at home.
