The Whitley County Colonels will take on the Madison Central Indians at 1:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Whitley County is coming into the  game hot, having won their last 14 games dating back to last season.

 For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Madison Central and Eastern meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again  on Friday. Madison Central came out on top in a nail-biter against Eastern, sneaking past  9-7. That looming  9-7 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Indians yet this  season.
 Whitley County's victory was  their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 3-0. Those  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 10.2 runs over those games. As for Madison Central,  the  victory  got them back to even at 3-3.
 Whitley County came up short against Madison Central in their previous matchup  back in March of 2024, falling  11-6. Can Whitley County avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
