The Gallia Academy Blue Devils will head out on the road to square off against the Meigs Marauders at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Gallia Academy has given up an average of 7.5 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Meigs, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They never let Waterford get on the board and left with a 17-0 victory on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Marauders, who have now won seven games by eight runs or more so far this season.
Brooklyn Roush made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.
In other batting news, Meigs got a massive performance out of Jordin Davenport, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, four RBI, and two doubles. That's the most RBI Davenport has posted since back in May of 2025. Bella Roush was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI.
Meigs always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .618. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Waterford only posted an OBP of .211.
Meigs pushed their record up to 10-1 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.9 runs on average over those games. As for Gallia Academy, they now have a losing record of 5-6.
Both Gallia Academy and Meigs just can't seem to miss. The Blue Devils have been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.7 hits per game. However, it's not like Meigs struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 3 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
