Worthington Kilbourne will face off against a team with plenty of momentum: Dublin Scioto extended their winning streak to three on Thursday. The Irish never let Westerville South get on the board and left with a 16-0 victory.
Avery Reynolds made a splash while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out eight over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two hits in seven consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.

In other batting news, Maria Wasko was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. Sophia Bird was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI.
Dublin Scioto hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Westerville South struck out eight times.
Meanwhile, Worthington Kilbourne made easy work of Westland on Thursday and carried off a 13-1 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wolves.
Like Dublin Scioto, Worthington Kilbourne also got a great game from a two-way player: Becca Boue. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out nine over four innings pitched. With that strong performance, Boue' is now averaging an impressive 5.2 strikeouts per game. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
In other batting news, Karris Stuttard was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. That home run was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Ashwika Namala, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with two RBI and one run.
Worthington Kilbourne's victory bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Dublin Scioto, their win bumped their record up to 11-2.
Worthington Kilbourne's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Dublin Scioto has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 11.1 hits per game. It's a different story for Worthington Kilbourne, though, as they've been averaging 9.8 hits. Given Dublin Scioto's sizable advantage in that area, the Wolves will need to find a way to close that gap.
