Josh Linton was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Linton was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing three bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
In other batting news, David Strickland was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and a triple. Another player making a difference was Josiah Perez, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.
Meanwhile, Titusville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They fell 9-6 to Astronaut.
Like Atlantic, Titusville also got a great game from a two-way player: Jake Roberts. He tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (he also only allowed one walk). Roberts was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
Roberts wasn't the only one making solid contact as six players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Jacob Bercaw, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.
The victory got Atlantic back to even at 9-9. As for Titusville, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-16.
