The biggest upset of the week belonged to Reed City, who took down 81st ranked Reed City, 30-29.
Newaygo moved up to 152 from 193 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Central State. The Lions were able to make move up by besting the Coyotes 30-29.
Chippewa Hills's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Jake Tarbell threw for 151 and two touchdowns and Trent Karcher had 132 yards receiving. On the ground Tarbell chipped in 46 yards. Jason Peacock helped Chippewa Hills' passing attack out by catching one ball for 47 yards.
Hayden Denslow made the biggest impact on defense this week as the Warriors fell to Ogemaw Heights. The senior recorded one fumble.
Chippewa Hills' Tarbell and Karcher have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Tarbell has thrown for 1352 yards this season, while Karcher has 46 catches for 1133 yards. Central Montcalm's Keagan James leads the league in rushing yards with 1134.
Newaygo and Reed City played the most hotly contested game in the league this week, with Newaygo eventually emerging with a 30-29 victory.
