On Tuesday, it was a hard-fought matchup, but the First Christian Lions had to settle for an 8-6 loss against the Countryside Christian Minutemen.

Keith was even better at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing four bases while going 2-for-3.
In other batting news, Gabriella Colon was incredible, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with two triples, four RBI, and a stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Lilian Colon, who scored three runs and stole three bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
First Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Countryside Christian, their win bumped their record up to 5-3-1.
First Christian will head out on the road to take on Open Bible Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Countryside Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Saint Francis Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Countryside Christian is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 9.8 runs per game this season.
