Rockville is 2-8 against Magruder since February of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Rockville Rams' road trip will continue as they head out to face the Magruder Colonels at 5:30 p.m. on December 19th.
Last Friday, Rockville might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Wootton an easy 71-50 win. Rockville has not had much luck with Wootton recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Meanwhile, Magruder entered their tilt with Northwest with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Magruder skirted past Northwest 59-56. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
It was another big night for Aiden Dabbondanza, who scored 21 points along with three blocks. Those three blocks set a new season-high mark for him. Sekou Bangoura was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with six assists.
Rockville bumped their record down to 1-3 with that loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Magruder, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.
Rockville took a serious blow against Magruder in their previous meeting back in January, falling 80-51. Thankfully for Rockville, Will Resnick (who scored 16 points along with five assists and three steals) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
