The Fossil Ridge Sabercats scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They blew past Brighton, posting a 64-7 win at home. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Fossil Ridge as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Carmen Arkin continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 17 points along with seven rebounds and seven steals. Those seven steals set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was Lauren Smith, who scored 13 points along with eight steals.
Fossil Ridge's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Brighton, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 1-9.
Fossil Ridge will take on Boulder at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Boulder has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Brighton, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Mountain Range at 7:00 p.m.
