The Nordheim Pirates just played last night, but they'll still head out to face the Taft Greyhounds at 1:30 p.m. on December 29th. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Nordheim has struggled recently with six losses in a row, while Taft will arrive with six straight wins.
On Thursday, Nordheim took a serious blow against Three Rivers, falling 71-44.
Meanwhile, even though Karnes City scored an imposing 57 points on Wednesday, Taft still came out on top. Taft enjoyed a cozy 75-57 win over Karnes City.
Jordan Villalobos continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 39 points and ten rebounds. The matchup was his ninth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of David Davis, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds.
Nordheim's loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 2-8. As for Taft, their win bumped their record up to 14-9.
