On Friday Macon take on Moberly at 7:00 PM. Each team will be battling to keep a win streak alive as Macon skips in on four wins and Moberly on three.
It was all tied up at the half for Macon and Monroe City last week, but Macon stepped up in the second half. Macon took their matchup against Monroe City 26-12. Senior Kevin Edwards was the offensive standout of the match for Macon, as he rushed for 123 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Moberly were the big favorite in their most recent match, and for good reason. They were fully in charge, breezing past Fulton 55-6. Followers of Moberly probably expected little less of the team in a season in which they have collected three blowout victories.
Their wins bumped Macon to 4-0 and Moberly to 3-1. We'll see which team can carry over their success and which team inevitably falls when Macon and Moberly clash.
