The Absegami Braves can now show off ten landslide victories after their most recent contest on Monday. They blew past The Pilgrim Academy 72-31 at home. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 47-20.
The Pilgrim Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mason Parmer, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine rebounds. Noah Brittin was another key contributor, scoring six points along with five rebounds.
Absegami is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 20-6 record this season. As for The Pilgrim Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-7.
Absegami will be playing in front of their home fans against Atlantic City at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for The Pilgrim Academy, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Gloucester County Christian at 6:30 p.m. on February 13th. Hopefully The Pilgrim Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Monday.
