Northwood proved they can win big last Wednesday (they won by 14) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Green Level Gators 4-3. Winning may never get old, but the Chargers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Northwood's victory bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Green Level, they dropped their record down to 5-11 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Northwood will host Apex at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Cougars' pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so the Chargers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Green Level, they have already played their next match, an 11-0 defeat against Green Hope on the 8th.
