The Eagle Mustangs can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. Everything went their way against Post Falls as Eagle made off with a 59-38 win. With Eagle ahead 34-14 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
Paige Cofer continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 21 points and 12 rebounds. The game was her sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Porter Wood, who scored 7 points along with 10 rebounds.
Eagle's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Post Falls, they have fallen quite a ways from their 18-6 record last season and are now at 2-6.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eagle will take on Timberline at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Idaho (Timberline is ranked 34th, while Eagle is ranked 44th). As for Post Falls, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Ridgeline at 5:30 p.m. on December 4th.
