Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Kingston). Everything went their way against the Hugo Buffaloes on Monday as Kingston made off with a 15-3 win. With that victory, the Redskins brought their scoring average up to 6.4 runs per game.

The team relied heavily on Brady Greene, who went 1-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Those RBI marked the first that he brought in this season. Ewan Weaver was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

Greene wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Kingston kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

The win got Kingston back to even at 4-4. As for Hugo, they dropped their record down to 4-7 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kingston will challenge Stonewall at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday. As for Hugo, they will take on Battiest at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
