Everything went their way against the Youngker Roughriders on Thursday as they made off with  a  3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  3-2  back in March.
 While Washington won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the  second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 26-24,  25-18.
 Ben Marquez paced Washington's offense, picking up 15 kills. Marquez got some help from  Byar Reh and his 14 assists. Marquez also made an impact serving:  he shared the team lead in aces with  Nicholas Pehm, racking up two apiece.
The  victory snapped Washington's losing streak at four games  and leaves them with a 6-12 record. As for Youngker, their loss was  their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 2-19.
