While Friday's win was certainly a team effort, someone pulling more than their own weight was underclassman Jayson Powers. On Friday he made a splash, dropping a double-double on 27 points and ten rebounds. It looks like he has Downey's number considering he had a big game the last time he faced them, too.
Powers and Gregori will be playing at home against Edison at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Powers hasn't had any trouble running up the score (he's averaged 20 per game this season), but it's looking like he'll have his work cut out for him against Edison's dominant defense.
