On Tuesday, the Sullivan Redskins were out to avenge their 66-33 defeat to the Central A & M Raiders from their previous meeting earlier this month, but they had no such luck. Sullivan took a serious blow against Central A & M, falling 86-26. That's the fewest points the Redskins have scored all season.
Sullivan's loss pushed them down to 4-19. The win was the 14th in a row for Central A & M and raised their record to 23-2.
Sullivan will take on St. Teresa Friday. Sullivan is the clear underdog, so they're hoping it's the size of the fight that determines this one. The Raiders will look to defend their home court Friday against Shelbyville. Shelbyville is also hoping to continue their momentum after a 50-49 victory over Clinton on Tuesday.
