The Holmes Huskies will take on the Eastlake Falcons in a tournament  on Saturday.
In Friday's  Canine Competition, Holmes didn't have enough. They lost  18-0 to Magnolia on Friday. The Huskies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Holmes saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Hannah Rojas, who  went a perfect1-for-1 with one  double.
Meanwhile, Eastlake entered their tilt with Ball on Friday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single  run of losing the streak, but they secured  a   4-3 W against the Tornadoes. The four-run effort marked the Falcons' lowest-scoring  game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.
 Isabella Aguilera and  Samantha Ponce did most of the damage at the plate:  Aguilera  went 1-for-2 with three  RBI and one  double, while  Ponce  scored two  runs while going 2-for-2. That's the most  RBI  Aguilera has posted since back in February of 2024.  Celina Estrada also deserves some recognition as  she  stolen her first  stolen base of the season.
 Eastlake  hit smart and  finished the game with only two  strikeouts. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  struck out at most five  strikeouts every time they've taken the field this season.
 Eastlake's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Holmes, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
